Hi Shawn is almost not enough to express my thoughts, perhaps Thank you Shawn would be more appropriate, please let me explain. As a young boy at the impressionable age of 12 I lived across the street from a young boy close to my age , this boy was not like all the other kids infact he was a one of a kind , he went out of his way to make other people smile and just plain enjoy themselves , he would take his box of magic tricks out to his back yard and perform for all the kids in the neighbourhood even parents began to take interest in his shows ,, he would perform tricks that baffled kids and adults alike ,,
Yes indeed he was quit the entertainer, he showed me that there was other ways to enjoy life as the young mischievous boy that I was ( I am sure he not knowingly kept me out of serious trouble) , I did not realize at the time but I looked up to him , he was an absolute role model for me ,infact I used the same morals and life values to raise my three children. I lost touch with this boy over 30 years ago when his folks left the east coast , but I had often thought of him from time to time and the way he made me happy when I was down. And although I have not spoke to him in years , he has managed to make yet another lasting impression on me , he has now shown me that you can indeed follow your dreams and make them come true, this boy I speak of is Shawn Farquhar, That smile you see when he makes people happy is more genuine then the word itself, I hope someday Shawn performs in Ontario so that I can take my entire family to enjoy a show by a real true showman. Your truly amazing Shawn and I thank you again

Hi Shawn,My wife and I saw you perform several times during several cruises we took over the years on the NCL Star. We were on the NCL Pearl coastal cruise from Vancouver to LA in September 2009 and you had a large group of your magians on board. I had heard you were the organizer of the event from your mother who was also on board and very proud of her son. The ship stopped in San Francisco for the day and my wife and I were surprised when we ran into you at Pier 39. Thanks for allowing us to take a picture with you and enjoyed the conversation. Continued success and hope we meet again. You are a class act. Also give our best to your family.

Hi Shawn

The first time I saw you was on youtube. The song that you chose "Stand Up for the Champion" moved me to tears. As a result of listening to it . it became a pivotal turning point for me. The first time I SAW you in person was at dinner where I was privileged to spend time with not only you but your family.

As a result of both of these experiences please know that you can call on me at any time for ANY thing and I will be there for you.

I have learned that you are not only an amazing magician but truly a man that values family. The way you honor them in both your acts and on your web page speaks volumes about your heart and who you are as a person.
